HOW FAST DO YOU DISPATCH ORDERS?
We aim to be speedy in getting your order personalised and printed (if applicable), packaged and sent out to you. This process usually takes 1-3 business days.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Please notify us within 2 days of receiving your purchase if it is has arrived damaged. Please include a photo of the damaged item, so we can quickly send you a replacement. If any of our products are shown to be faulty, we will offer you a full refund, however please note, we do not issue refunds if you change your mind; or if you have spelt the name or written the date of birth incorrectly when customising your print order.
CAN I GET A PRINT CUSTOMISED?
Absolutely! We have a certain number of prints that can be customised with your baby's name and/or date of birth. Once you select the print you would like, please enter the details you would like printed onto the artwork in the 'customisation' field box. Please ensure you review this and ensure the spelling and dates are correct as you won't receive design proofs. Often if you choose long or multiple names, we may have to adjust the font size, and place each word on a different line to ensure it fits within the artwork.
For other customised orders including slight changes of colour, or to include a favourite quote or motto your family hold special- please get in contact with us. As these changes require more time and direct contact with you for us to discuss what is needed, and for you to approve the new design, the prints will be priced accordingly and discussed with you via email.
EEEK I SPELT THE NAME WRONG, OR PUT THE WRONG DATE OF BIRTH IN WHEN ORDERING.
Whoops! Please get in contact with us as soon as you realise you have made an error in the spelling of a name or put the wrong date of birth. We will do our absolute best to rectify this and change the error.
Please note that if your print has already been shipped before you get in contact with us, we will not be able to issue refunds as per our returns policy.
CAN I ORDER A CUSTOM SIZE PRINT?
Of course. If the size of print you're after isn't included in our standard sizes available- please get in contact with us to ask for a different size. Prices for custom sized prints will be priced on an individual basis due to the extra time taken customising your order and ensuring the appropriate sized packaging is used.
DO THE PRINTS COME FRAMED?
We offer 3 sizes of prints to be purchased with frame- our 5 x 7" Print, our A4 Print, and our A3 print. Our frame is a white wooden frame with a classic edge. Pictures of the frames are in each product page.
All of our prints are designed to fit standard sized off the shelf frames.
HOW ARE YOUR PRINTS PACKAGED?
We take great care when packaging and posting your beautiful new prints. The print is placed in and sealed in a plastic sleeve bag, before being sandwiched in between 2 cardboard sheets, to prevent the print from creasing in transit. This is then wrapped in tissue paper, before then being sealed in a postage bag and sent on it's merry way to you.
For our prints that have been purchased with a frame, the print is placed inside he frame ready for you at home, before being wrapped in tissue paper, and then bubble wrap. Finally it is placed within the package parcel.
As you can see, we take a lot of care preparing the print for transit, however we can't control what happens after your package is with the shipping company.
WHAT IS ATTACHMENT?
Attachment refers to the connection between the main caregiver and baby which is a bond unlike any other- one that lays part of the foundation for brain development and forms part of a template for future relationships to form. This bond is formed by 9-12 months of life.
Attachment is the thing that allows our kids to go off on grand adventures and explore knowing that they can always come back for comfort and support.
Gingerbread Ink aims to support this attachment bond through developing caregiver reflective skills to facilitate a deeper level of emotional connection with your kids and bubs.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE TO BE WRITING POSTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS?
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, a Master's degree in Infant Mental Health, have completed training and certification to become a paediatric massage consultant; and have also completed a number of trainings that centre around attachment based and mentalizing based interventions and treatment programs. I continue working clinically with families and receive regular clinical and reflective supervision for this work to continue extending my skills. I try my absolute best to be thoughtful and considerate when writing my blog posts for the website and for the instagram page, and my intentions are to help support new parents and families to further their reflective skills as a way of promoting the bond between parent and baby. I recognise that the information posted is not personalised to everyone and their circumstances and history and in no way replaces individual consultations with an allied health professional.
